It might not be fair but Kevin Love’s career will always be compared with O.J. Mayo’s who was traded to Memphis for him. Love has played in 12 games for the Timberwolves this season and he has averaged 23.6 minutes, 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The Wolves will likely increase Love’s minutes as the season goes on as long as they think he can handle it. Love better play well because O.J. Mayo is averaging 20.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.3 asssits and 1.3 steals per game in his first 14 games of his NBA career.
