The Timberwolves have acquired 34-year old point guard Antonio Daniels and a 2nd round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft for 31-year old power forward Darius Songaila and 24-year old combo guard Bobby Brown.  The 34-year old Daniels will likely play both the point and shooting guard positions off the bench next season for the T-Wolves.  Daniels played in 74 games (9 starts) last season for the Wizards and Hornets averaging 13.8 minutes, 4.1 points, 1.0 rebound and 2.4 assists per game.  Daniels has now played in 868 games (220 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 22.6 minutes, 7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.  Daniels was the best player involved in this trade but the Wolves could have used Songaila this season.  Bobby Brown played in 21 games (2 starts) for the T-Wolves last season and he averaged 12.2 minutes, 5.5 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
