The Minnesota Timberwolves (1-13) lost their 13th consecutive game Monday night, falling to the Los Angeles Clippers (6-9) late.  The Timberwolves got within 2 points with about a minute to go, but Baron Davis put the Clippers up 4 on a driving layup with only 8 seconds left.  The Timberwolves played well for three quarters, but the offense did not show up in the final quarter.  They only scored 14 points in the 4th quarter and ended up shooting 43% from the field for the game.  The 21 turnovers also hurt the T’Wolves, who should definitely have more than one win on the year.  Al Thornton killed them tonight, as he had 31 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers.  They also let Sebastian Telfair score 17 points off the bench.  Rookie Johnny Flynn had a very solid game for the Timberwolves, giving them 17 points and 5 assists.  Ryan Gomes had a poor shooting night, going 6-17 from the floor and ending up with 15 points.  The Timberwolves are in desperate need of a win and need to get out of this losing streak.
