The Timberwolves didn’t play and D last night as the Kings shot 52.6% from the floor and it did them in. Al Jefferson led the way for the T-Wolves last night with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. Corey Brewer pitched in with 16 points and 2 rebounds last night. Kevin Love also had a solid game with 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Timberwolves are now 3-21 on the year.

Los Angeles Lakers 104, Minnesota Timberwolves 92

The Timberwolves played hard last night but it just wasn’t good enough to beat the Lakers at the Staples Center. Al Jefferson led the way for the T-Wolves last night with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 1 assist. Ramon Sessions pitched in with 15 points and 5 assists in 23 minutes off the bench. Jonny Flynn was so-so last night with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 25 minutes on the floor. The Timberwolves are now 3-20 on the year.

Jonny Flynn is one of the many great guards from this year’s rookie class.  Flynn has been even better than expected for the Timberwolves this year, and it looks like the small but strong guard will continue to get better.  Flynn will be a fun player to watch in Minnesota for years to come, but see where he ranks now among the other Top Rookies in the NBA so far.

New Orleans Hornets 97, Minnesota Timberwolves 96

The T-Wolves somehow lost last night despite shooting 52.6% from the floor and outrebounding the Hornets 49-29! Ryan Gomes led the way for the Timberwolves last night with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Al Jefferson had a great game near the basket with 17 points, 16 rebounds and 2 steals. The T-Wolves also got a decent game out of Jonny Flynn last night as he finished up with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 9 assists. The Timberwolves are now 3-19 on the season.

Toronto Raptors 94, Minnesota Timberwolves 88

The Timberwolves only shot 37.1% from the floor last night and it killed them in the end. Kevin Love led the way for the Timberwolves last night with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in 30 minutes off the bench. Jonny Flynn also had a solid game with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Ryan Gomes pitched in with 16 points and 3 rebounds in this game. The Timberwolves are now 3-18 on the year.
