The Timberwolves have signed 6′11″, 265 center Nikola Pekovic to a 3-year, $13 million dollar deal. The T-Wolves used the #31 pick overall on Pekovic in the 2008 NBA Draft. He averaged 23 minutes, 14.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season in Europe where he was considered one of the best centers in his league. The T-Wolves are hoping that Pekovic will reward them for their patience and that he will be able to contribute right away.
