The T-Wolves just couldn’t keep up last night as they were outscored 37-30 in the 4th quarter last night and it did them in. Michael Beasley led the way for the T-Wolves in this game with 33 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. Kevin Love also had a great game with 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists last night. Luke Ridnour continued his strong play with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Martell Webster pitched in with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist last night. The Timberwolves are now 8-25 on the year.

24-year old small forward Martell Webster has hit the ground running for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Webster has played in 8 games (0 starts) for the T-Wolves so far this year and he is averaging 27.8 minutes, 13.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He is shooting well from everywhere on the court (48% from the floor, 39.3% from three point range and 79% from the free throw line) so far this year. His season started late due to injury but he’s making up for lost time now.

The Timberwolves outscored the Hornets 59-41 in the second half last night and they shot 53.2% from the floor which led to victory. Michael Beasley led the way for the T-Wolves in this game with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Wesley Johnson also had a solid game with 24 points, 3 assists and 1 steal as he shot a very hot 6 of 8 from three point range. Kevin Love was tough as usual with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in this game. Darko Milicic (14 points) and Luke Ridnour (12 points and 11 assists) also played well last night. The Timberwolves are now 8-24 on the season as they are starting to play pretty good basketball.

Minnesota Timberwolves 98, Cleveland Cavaliers 97

The Timberwolves only shot 38.8% from the floor but they still beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland last night. Michael Beasley led the way for the T-Wolves in this game with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Beasley also made the game winning shot for the T-Wolves late in the 4th quarter. Luke Ridnour was a perfect 5 of 5 from three point range as he finished up with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Kevin Love was solid as usual for the Wolves with 16 points, 18 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Jonny Flynn pitched in with 11 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists in only 20 minutes off the bench last night. The Timberwolves are now 7-24 on the season.

The Timberwolves looked good for the first three quarters last night before imploding and getting outscored 41-24 in the 4th quarter. Kevin Love led the way for the T-Wolves last night with 25 points, 19 rebounds and 2 assists despite shooting 7 of 20 from the floor. Michael Beasley filled up the stat sheet last night with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots. Luke Ridnour (16 points), Martell Webster (16 points) and Wesley Johnson (14 points) also pitched in offensively for the T-Wolves. The Timberwolves are now 6-24 on the year.
