The Timberwolves have a talented roster, but they have some extra pieces that they could deal. Anthony Tolliver and Wayne Ellington are both buried on the depth chart but they can both play. The Timberwolves could decide to keep them though, and give Rick Adelman a decent shot to succeed when he figures out the right rotation for his team. Not too many teams have the quality depth at forward that the Timberwolves do as Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Derrick Williams, Anthony Randolph and Anthony Tolliver are going to give them a nice advantage on most nights.

The Timberwolves have signed 65-year old Rick Adelman to take over as the new head coach. Adelman led the Houston Rockets to a 43-39 (52.4%) record last year. He has now been a head coach in the NBA for 20 years and he is 945-616 (60.5%) during the regular season. He is also 79-78 (50.3%) in the NBA Playoffs. This was a great signing for the Timberwolves as Adelman will bring a winning attitude and the know how to get them back on the right path.
